Enjoy a family friendly day of fishing, scalloping or just relaxing with Captain Dick and Captain Janet Yant. A ride out the Crystal River reveals the beauty of the wildlife habitat on the Nature Coast. One point of interest is the Midden Mounds at the Crystal River Archeological Park. The rivers bountiful seafood and wildlife attracted the ancient Indians as far back as 600 BC..

The Crystal River is formed by many springs. The main spring is approximately 8 miles from where it empties into Crystal Bay and the Gulf of Mexico.  The 72 degree water flowing from the springs provide a warm winter refuge for the hundreds of manatees and many species of sealife.

Capt. Janet and I have fished the local waters since 1981. We continue to enjoy sharing our local knowledge and experiences with first time anglers as well as experienced fishermen and those persons wanting a relaxing tour of the Nature Coast.

Capt. Dick and Capt. Janet have retired.  We thank our loyal clients for the fun years of fishing and scalloping.  We can still be contacted for a visit at   352-746-9067  or rdyant79@gmail.com
